Dental Screening

Today the children had dental screening. Please check your child's mailbag for information for next steps for dental heath.

Applewood dentist

Today we had visitors from Applewood Dental. Your child has received a bag with toothbrush and a toy. Melissa  and Crystal showed us how to brush our teeth. We learned to brush in circles, clean all the teeth and the tongue.

Popcorn is on sale every Wednesday for $2 a bag. The money goes towards field trips for the grade 7 and 8 classes!

Scholastic Book Orders

Just a reminder that the Scholastic Book Orders due date has been changed to Monday Jan 18.  I sent home two more flyers today therefore I changed the due date. These new ones are more appropriate to the children in our class. We are trying to spell SCHOLASTIC . We get bonus coupons and points that allow us to purchase resources for our classroom. Thank you for those of you who purchased books already this year. I encourage you to purchase books from this avenue because our class will benefit. When my children were little I would buy at least one book a month. The prices are reasonable and the classroom would benefit. Thank you for your continued support.

This week we had a  busy week exploring the snow and new equipment. Today you should be receiving January newsletter,Scholastic book orders and a new poem for the poem book.
