Tues Dec 6 Forest Walk

On Tuesday we went on a walk through the forest and discovered evidence of  natural life.
We saw a few tracks , a squirrel and nests in  the forest.

Dog prints or wolf  prints  we wonder ???

Looks like rabbit tracks or could be squirrel tracks .

We have to be quiet to walk in nature sh,sh,sh

Spots where the snow has melted and we see leaves and roots.
We were quiet and saw a squirrel in this big nest.
 there goes the squirrel.
The squirrel is  great climber and jumper plus a fast runner.
A tiny nest for a small bird.
A close up of  plant life under the snow.
We still see evidence of seeds in the burrs that Jordyn' hat caught from the bush.

We love nature.

Shayla watching snow melting.

Maximus rolling a giant ball.

Songs for the concert

The seasonal concert is December 14 more information will follow regarding the dress and times.
Here are the songs so your child can practice at home.

Snowman Poem
There was a little snowman with a carrot nose.
Along came a bunny and what do you suppose.
This hungry little bunny was looking for his lunch.
He ate that snowman's carrot nose
Crunch, crunch , crunch.

Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring are you listening
In the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight we are happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland.

Gone away is the blue bird
Here to stay is the new bird
He sings a love song as we go along
Walking in a winter  wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman.
Then pretend he's a circus clown.
We will have some fun with mister snowman .
Until  the other kids knock him down.

Later on we'll conspire as we dream by the fire
The face unafraid the plans that we made
Walking in a winter wonderland.

no music, singing
Walking in a winter wonderland
Walking in a winter wonderland

no sound , signing
Walking in a winter wonderland
Walking in a winter wonderland

The highlighted words have signs.

Have a great weekend.
