HOME READING PROGRAM.

Today we had our home reading program kick off.  A letter was sent home on Tuesday with information about the program. Today the blue folder with reading log ,and books were sent home.

Just to recap :

• Thursday Blue folder goes home.
• A list of suggestions and activities for you to do with your child.
• The books are chosen by the students for enjoyment and fun of reading.
• Parents fill out and sign the reading log page.
• Tuesday return the blue folder to school.
• If a book is lost the fee is $5.00 per book.
• Enjoy reading with your child. 

 

Remember my poem.

We learn the letters of the alphabet.

Letters create words.

Words create sentences.

Sentences create knowledge.

The more you read the more you know.
