Thurs.Feb 22 Computers

Children will create their known and unknown experiences with drama, art , building and oral language.I use the ipod daily talking photos and videos of the children's learning. We use the computer to research new ideas and points of interest the students are interested. it is fun to see the children create computers and cell phones.

 The children were explaining their computers and the pictures that came up on their screen.

Wed. Feb.21 Thinking and Learning

The children are creating elaborate structures during thinking and learning time.

  Ashley made a watch last week so I found a few small clocks that the hands can move so we can learn the time.

Tues. Feb. 20 Green Compost Bin

In our classroom we now have a the green organics bin. We are teaching children to be stewards for our Earth. The students are being responsible to use and protect the natural environment through conservation and recycle practices.

Thurs. Feb. 15 Winter sport.

Jordyn has shared with me her new four wheel quad. We discussed her helmet and safety while driving . She was quite excited when I shared I have a pink and black helmet too. I wear  mine for snowmobiling. So her dad brought her helmet at the end of the day . I went and got the ipod to snap a shot. Here is Jordyn and her dad outside of our school.

I am hoping to get out this weekend I will ask Mr. Tizzard to take a photo of me with my helmet.

It was fun talking about fun things to do with our family.

Valentine's Day the children had quite the assembly line to put the valentine's cards in the bags.As you see from the overflowing bags the children brought home everyone had a fun day.

Tues.Feb 13 Sledding.

I took a small group to the hill for a fun time of sledding.

Mon. Feb 12 Thinking and Learning.

On Monday during thinking and learning children were exploring Valentines and sharing the love with cards notes and crafts.I love to see this writing embedded in the classroom play. Creative thinking was happening with the structures in the classroom too.
