Fri. May 4 Lady Bug vs. Asian Lady Bug

Children found this bug yesterday . It created quite the stir in the classroom. I showed children a picture of each bug and we discussed the similarities and differences.

The one we found was orange and bites but it is not poisonous harmful just annoying.

I will do more research for sure to make sure children are safe.

Asian bugs have an M shape on their head as you see in the above picture .

I got the children to document their findings.

This is inquiry at the start. Documenting and learning about bugs.I  hope to extend the learning.
