On the walk we discussed shelters, the snow and trees. We looked at trees and areas that did not have any snow. We discussed the trees as a cover for shelter. It was then later that we saw the Hawk and squirrel.
The snow was deep in areas on our walk that is why it was interesting to see such a large area under the trees that did not have any snow.
A fun day learning about nature during outdoor ed.
