Wednesday we went on a walk to a pond.
We saw thin ice and water.
Tracks in the snow. We saw a fox last week near our school.
We wonder if these tracks belong to it!!!!
It was interesting and children discussed why this tree still had leaves on it while many other trees did not.
We need to investigate this inquiry.
Mackenzie , Lilah and Ashnaa looking at the tree up close.
We saw a cardinal, chickadee, and a junco fly to this tree.
These are similar pictures of the birds we saw.
Jackson made a connection that the cardinal was on his baseball cap he wore last year.

Walking the trail.
Pine tree with pine needles.
We discussed that all these trees and bushes did not have leaves.
We also discussed the thin ice was a dangerous area and not to go on or near it .
The pond had thin ice and water. It was a great discussion about safety.
