Wed . Mar. 1 Beautiful Oops

Today we read Beautiful Oops by Barney Saltzberg.  It had a lovely message about making mistakes and fixing the mistake. It also stressed the importance of making something beautiful. We talked about trying an activity and when it is hard to find help from a friend, an adult or retrying another way to fix the problem. We discussed some problems students may experience.ie printing a letter, a zipper, counting materials , and reading a book. We discussed making a mistake with art and creating something else just like Barney.
