Outside Thurs. Apr. 26

The children are enjoying the warmer weather We are out two twenty minute recesses and an hour of outdoor education. Please send your child with extra clothes mostly pants and socks.. I even have spare clothes because I like to get up close to nature and sometimes I get wet too.








 Raquet ball baseball. Boys made their own rules.

 Number hunt.
 Nature walk on a rain day.

We love nature.
Remember the proper gear for outdoor ed. 
Boots, splash pants, light hat and mitts, rain jacket , light sweather
Change of clothes and a happy curious spirit.
I love nature too!!

Wed. Apr.25 Birds

Last week we saw the blue heron and tracks from the blue heron at the pond. Ms. McDowell brought in books about birds and discussed the fun facts about birds. Here are some books she shared with the class.

We  went to the forest and the children were discovering the bugs are present after our long winter. It is refreshing to see Nature walking up.

Mon.Apr. 23 Plants

The pumpkin plant continues to grow. We planted bulbs in the fall and those have just sprouted in the pots outside our classroom.

Thur. Apr. 19 A Celebration of Culture.

Celebration of Culture was a success. Thank you to families who took time in their evening to come and celebrate their culture.
